CES by the numbers
I am now back home after 4 days at the Consumer Electronics Show. It was an interresting year - you could tell from the floor that the economy was turning around, but there was no breakout hit like years past (3D in 2010, Tablets in 2011).
I will have a few posts in the next week or so about my experience, and what I thought of everything. However, I wanted to share some numbers I collected via my Fitbit while walking the floor:
I started counting at 4:30AM Sunday, when I got up to leave for Vegas. I stopped when I got to my apartment late last night.
Over the 4 days:
- 66004 steps
- 32.37 miles
- 44 floors climbed
- 91.25 hours total door to door
That breaks down to:
- 723.33 steps/hour
- 12 steps a minute
- An average speed of .366 MPH (that includes time when I was asleep)
- 11 floors a day (the Fitbit only counts climbing stairs, so that’s just one way)
